Enquiries and Appointment Confirmation
You may contact us through the website enquiry form, email or telephone to discuss your project and consultation needs.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a confirmed appointment or automatically establish a service contract.
Before an appointment is confirmed, we will discuss the relevant arrangements, which may include:
- The consultation type and subject matter.
- The proposed scope and expected discussion topics.
- The applicable starting price or agreed service fee.
- The expected consultation duration.
- The proposed date and time.
- The meeting location.
- Any relevant information or materials you should prepare.
An appointment is confirmed only when the relevant details have been agreed by both parties. We will communicate the confirmed arrangements through an appropriate written communication.
We reserve the right to decline an enquiry where the requested work falls outside our consultation scope, cannot reasonably be accommodated or requires services that we do not offer.
Prices and Service Fees
Prices displayed on the website are starting prices. They are intended to provide an initial indication of the cost of a consultation and are not automatically fixed prices for every project.
The final fee may depend on factors such as:
- The consultation type and subject matter.
- The expected duration of the meeting.
- The complexity and preparation requirements of the project.
- The amount of material to be reviewed or discussed.
- Any additional scope expressly requested and agreed.
We will explain the applicable fee and what it covers before the appointment is confirmed. Any additional work outside the original scope must be discussed and agreed separately before it is undertaken.
No additional fee will be introduced for work outside the agreed scope without first explaining the proposed work and obtaining your agreement.
Any applicable tax treatment will be explained in the service information provided to you before the relevant arrangement is confirmed.
Your Responsibilities
To help us make the consultation useful and relevant, you agree to provide accurate information about your project and its requirements.
Where relevant, you should:
- Explain the musical idea or project you wish to discuss.
- Provide accurate details about your intended musical direction.
- Bring or share relevant lyrics, melodies, demos or reference materials where appropriate.
- Explain any particular objectives, preferences or practical limitations.
- Attend the agreed meeting at the confirmed time and location.
- Inform us promptly if your requirements or availability change.
- Ensure that you have the necessary rights or permissions for materials you provide.
You are responsible for checking that any information or materials supplied are accurate and that you are entitled to share them for the purpose of the consultation.
If important information is missing or changes materially, the consultation scope or arrangements may need to be reviewed with you.
Consultation Arrangements
Our consultations are arranged on a face-to-face basis. The meeting date, time and location will be discussed and agreed individually before confirmation.
Customers should attend at the agreed location and allow sufficient time for travel. If you expect to arrive late, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to follow the agreed consultation duration and subject matter. If a meeting needs to be changed due to unexpected circumstances, we will contact you to discuss an alternative arrangement.
Any change to the agreed consultation scope, duration or location should be discussed and accepted by both parties before the revised arrangement takes effect.
We do not guarantee that a particular meeting location, date or time will be available until it has been expressly confirmed.
Musical Ideas and Materials You Provide
Customers may bring or provide materials to support a consultation. These may include:
- Original melodies or musical sketches.
- Lyrics, song drafts or written notes.
- Demo recordings or audio references.
- Backing track examples or arrangement references.
- Links to music used to explain a preferred style or sound.
- Project briefs and other relevant creative information.
You remain responsible for ensuring that you own or have permission to use and share these materials for the consultation.
You must not provide materials that you are not authorised to share, or ask us to use third-party material in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
We will use customer-supplied materials only as reasonably necessary for the agreed consultation and related communications, subject to our Privacy Policy and any separate written agreement.
Providing a demo, melody, lyric or other creative material does not transfer ownership of that material to us.
Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each party retains ownership of the intellectual property that it owned or controlled before the consultation.
Your materials
You retain your rights in original melodies, lyrics, recordings, compositions, demos and other materials that you provide to us.
You allow us to refer to and use those materials only to the extent reasonably necessary to prepare for, conduct and follow up on the agreed consultation.
Our materials and methods
Any pre-existing business materials, consultation frameworks, general methods, written explanations, templates and other materials owned or developed independently by us remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ideas discussed during consultation
A consultation may involve discussing possible arrangements, musical structures, production approaches or creative directions. General discussion does not automatically transfer ownership of either party’s intellectual property.
If the parties intend to create, commission, license or transfer rights in a specific musical work or deliverable, the relevant ownership, permitted use and licensing arrangements must be set out in a separate written agreement.
Nothing in this section limits rights that arise automatically under applicable intellectual property law.
Nature and Limitations of Consultation
Our role is to discuss musical ideas, explain relevant considerations and help customers explore possible creative and practical directions.
Recommendations are based on the information available during the consultation. The suitability of a particular musical approach may depend on the customer’s objectives, available resources, technical environment and subsequent creative decisions.
Unless separately agreed in writing, a consultation does not include:
- Creating or supplying a finished song or composition.
- Recording or performing instrumental or vocal parts.
- Producing or delivering a completed backing track.
- Audio mixing, mastering or studio recording.
- Music distribution, publishing administration or promotion.
- Obtaining licences or permissions on behalf of the customer.
- Guaranteeing commercial success, audience response or artistic results.
Any work outside the consultation scope would require separate discussion and a clear written agreement before it is undertaken.
Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
If you need to cancel or rearrange a confirmed consultation, please contact us as soon as possible.
Our usual appointment arrangement asks customers to give at least 48 hours’ notice when cancelling or requesting a change.
Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be considered individually. Any adjustment for work already completed or reasonable costs incurred must be fair, proportionate and permitted by applicable law.
If we need to cancel a consultation, we will contact you and discuss an alternative appointment or an appropriate refund for any service that will not be provided.
Statutory cancellation rights may apply to qualifying distance or off-premises service contracts. Where they apply, they take precedence over any inconsistent appointment arrangement in these terms.
For full details, including applicable cancellation periods and refund arrangements, please read our Cancellation & Refund Policy .
Complaints and Service Concerns
We aim to handle concerns fairly and respond constructively. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of a consultation, please contact us with a description of the issue and the outcome you would consider appropriate.
We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and provide a substantive response within 15 working days after receiving sufficient information to review the matter.
If additional time is required, we will explain the reason and provide an updated response timescale.
Please refer to our Complaints Policy for the full procedure.
Confidentiality and Personal Information
We handle personal information in connection with enquiries, consultation arrangements and customer communications in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable steps to handle unpublished musical materials and project information with appropriate care. Access should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the agreed consultation and related administration.
We will not knowingly publish a customer’s unpublished lyrics, demos, recordings or other private project materials as promotional examples without an appropriate separate agreement or permission.
Information may be disclosed where required by law or where disclosure is otherwise permitted under applicable data protection requirements.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the Cookie Policy.

We aim to keep website information accurate and reasonably up to date. However, descriptions, examples and general explanations should not be treated as a substitute for the specific arrangements confirmed for an individual consultation.
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Submit information that you know to be false or misleading.
- Attempt to interfere with the website’s operation or security.
- Use website content in a way that infringes intellectual property rights.

Liability and Legal Responsibilities
We will provide our consultation services with the reasonable care and skill required by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where such exclusion or restriction would be unlawful. This includes liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
We are not responsible for outcomes that depend on decisions, actions or resources outside the agreed consultation, including the customer’s subsequent creative choices or the work of independent third parties.
We do not guarantee that a particular musical idea, arrangement direction or production recommendation will achieve a specific commercial, artistic or technical result.
Where legally permitted, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information supplied by the customer, provided that this does not remove any duty or responsibility imposed on us by law.
Any limitation of liability in these terms will be interpreted only to the extent permitted by applicable law and will not reduce mandatory consumer protections.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to our consultation services, business arrangements, website features or applicable legal requirements.
The version available on this website applies to enquiries and arrangements made after it is published, subject to any specific written terms already agreed with a customer and any mandatory legal requirements.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or obligations that have already arisen under an existing agreement.
If a material change affects an existing consultation arrangement, we will discuss the relevant change with the customer where appropriate.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to the customer.
Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law gives a customer the right to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction.
Nothing in this section limits a customer’s right to rely on mandatory legal protections applicable to their circumstances.
